GridWay included in Gridipedia [February 7, 2009]
The Gridipedia repository contains information on applying Grid technology to business. It represents a Grid meeting point, enabling individuals and organizations opportunities to offer, provide and use Grid technologies to meet their business challenges. See GridWay entry.


New Stable Release (5.4) of the GridWay Metascheduler [July 9, 2008]
The GridWay Project is pleased to announce that a new development release (5.4) of the GridWay Metascheduler is available for download under the terms of the Apache License, Version 2.0. GridWay 5.4, which is also shipped with GT4.2.0, includes support to access the NorduGrid infrastructure, new bindings for DRMAA and support for DAGMAN workflows.


New Stable Release (4.2) of the Globus Toolkit [July 4, 2008]
A new stable release of the Globus Toolkit is now available. GT4.2.0 contains an upgrade to the web services specifications used by the toolkit as well as new features in all services. This release contains a new stable release (5.4) of the GridWay Metascheduler, which will be shortly available from this web page.


New Development Release (5.3) of the GridWay Meta-scheduler [July 4, 2008]
The GridWay Project is pleased to announce that a new development release (5.3) of the GridWay meta-scheduler is available for download under the terms of the Apache License, Version 2.0. The new version enhances end-user functionality providing Perl, Python and Ruby DRMAA bindings and DAGman support.


New Stable Release (5.2.3) of the GridWay Meta-scheduler [October 9, 2007]
The GridWay Project is pleased to announce that a new stable release (5.2.3) of the GridWay meta-scheduler is available for download under the terms of the Apache License, Version 2.0.


GridWay wins the “best demo prize” at EGEE 2007 (Budapest, Hungary) [October 3, 2007]
The demo entitled “GridWay Interfaces for on-Demand Access to EGEE” won the “best demo prize” at EGEE'07 Conference. The demo showed the several interfaces provided by GridWay to port applications.


Globus GridWay supports the first OGF “Grid Recommendation” [October 2, 2007]
DRMAA and GridRPC are the first OGF documents to achieve “Grid Recommendation” status. Globus GridWay provides DRMAA bindings in C and JAVA (Perl, Ruby and Python are part of the next development release).


Stable Release (1.0.3) of the GridGateWay [July 10, 2007]
The GridWay Project is pleased to announce that a new stable release (1.0.3) of GridGateWay is available for download under the terms of the Apache License, Version 2.0. GridGateWay enables the creation of federated grids using GridWay and Globus.

The GridWay Meta-scheduler is now a dev.globus ProtoProject [June 1, 2006]
GridWay adheres to Globus philosophy and guidelines for collaborative development. The project infrastructure (web page, wiki@dev.globus, mailing lists and CVS repository) has been adapted accordingly.

GridWay 4.02RC1 Released [June 9, 2005]
